More than 30 Years of Quality Metal Coating Services:
- Beacon was founded in 1993 by M.I.T. engineering graduate Lee Breazeale. Lee used his engineering talents to develop several improved processes for the metal forging industry, becoming an innovator with several patents registered in his name.
- Late in his career, Lee identified a need for a provider of high-quality powder coating services in the central Indiana region. The company began with one continuous conveyor powder coating line and a single employee.
- Beacon Industries expanded aggressively over the next decade in both capacity and capability, with additional facility space and coating lines, including a high-volume monorail e-coat line.
- Late in 2011, Lee turned over the Presidency to Vice President Chris Sparks.
- Beacon continued to steadily grow throughout all the improvement phases. Our ongoing commitment to quality and consistency attracted many OEM, Tier 1, and Tier 2 automotive manufacturers, amongst many other industries.
- During the first quarter of 2017, Beacon encountered the highest growth ever recorded in our company history. Because of the extensive growth, our company added additional shifts to accommodate the increasing volume of product.

Due to the company’s rapid growth, Beacon expanded its operations by acquiring two additional facilities to better support our customers—one located in New Castle, Indiana, and the other in Toledo, Ohio.
