Benefits of Beacon’s Commercial E Coating
The Advantages of Our E-Coat Services: Better Coverage, Durability, and Sustainability
Excellent Corrosion Protection – Beacon’s e-coating services provide excellent corrosion resistance, substantially better than most traditional liquid paints. Resistant to both rust and chemical wear, e-coat is ideal for metal parts that will be exposed to harsh environments or rough operational conditions, such as modern manufacturing facilities, farming operations, and other demanding industrial applications.
Uniform Coating Thickness with Better Adhesion – The e-coating process gives us precise control over the coating thickness. Your metal parts are immersed in a bath of electrically charged paint particles which are attracted to the part’s surface. The electrical attraction naturally ensures an even distribution of coating material across the entire exposed surface of the part. The result is extremely consistent coating thickness and coverage, even for complex part designs with intricate geometries.
An Economical and Sustainable Coating Solution – E-coating is a relatively cost-effective coating method due to its high transfer efficiency. Basically, that means more of the coating sticks to the product, and there’s less left over as waste when compared to conventional paint spraying. Further adding to the sustainability of the e-coating process, non-adhered paint particles can be easily recaptured and reused.
All of that boils down to better sustainability and better cost-effectiveness for your project. Additionally, with Beacon’s high-volume process, we can coat numerous parts simultaneously with no loss in quality, increasing productivity while minimizing labor costs.
Exceptionally Environmentally Friendly – Striving for even better sustainability, Beacon employs the most environmentally-friendly techniques available in the production of all e-coated products. E-coating is inherently one of the more environmentally-friendly coating processes available for modern industrial applications because it uses water-based paints, which have lower levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) compared to solvent-based coatings and conventional liquid paints. The low VOC emissions mean less pollution and a safer working environment for Beacon’s dedicated employees.
Versatile E-Coating Services for Commercial and Industrial Applications
Beacon’s e-coating services are compatible with many metal substrates, including steel, aluminum, and cast iron, among many others. The process is compatible with virtually any part sizes and shape, enabling us to reliably coat even the most complex parts and components. We can also e-coat in virtually all common colors and finishes, providing the design flexibility that modern commercial metal finishing projects demand.
